Common questions about Upwex pricing.

What's included in the 7-day free trial?
The trial gives you full access to all features on the plan you choose, plus 20 starter AI credits. That's enough to run Check Fit on several jobs and generate a handful of cover letters. No credit card is required to start.
Can I be charged during the trial?
No. Trial cancellations are never charged. If you cancel before the trial ends, you keep access until day 7 and nothing is billed. You only move to a paid plan if you let the trial run its course without cancelling.
Can I extend the trial?
The trial period is fixed at 7 days. If you need more time to evaluate, email the support team at support@upwex.io - the team reviews requests case by case.
When does my billing cycle start?
Your billing cycle starts the day you convert from trial to a paid plan. Monthly plans renew on that calendar date each month; annual plans renew on the same date each year.
Monthly or annual - what changes?
Monthly billing gives you the flexibility to cancel at the end of any month. Annual billing pays for 12 months upfront and costs about 17 percent less than paying monthly for the same period. Lite is monthly-only (no annual option).
What happens if I upgrade or downgrade mid-cycle?
Upgrades take effect right away and are prorated - you pay only for the remaining days in your cycle at the new rate. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle; you keep the higher plan until then.
Does Upwex charge VAT or sales tax?
Upwex pricing is shown before tax. Depending on your country and the applicable rules, VAT or sales tax may be added at checkout. The final amount is shown on the payment confirmation screen.
How do I cancel?
Cancel any time from your account billing page - no email required, no waiting. After cancelling, you keep access until the end of your current billing cycle. Trial cancellations are never charged.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your templates, synced profile, analytics history, and past proposals stay in your account for 30 days after the plan expires. After that, the account moves to a limited state. You can reactivate at any time to restore full access.
What is the refund policy?
Trial cancellations are never charged. For paid plans, you keep access to the end of your current billing cycle; there is no refund for unused time in that cycle. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact support@upwex.io.
What uses an AI credit?
One credit covers one AI-generated cover letter or one Check Fit analysis on a new job. Screening Q&A answers also use one credit per generation. Re-opening a previously cached Check Fit result is free.
What does not use an AI credit?
Profile Sync, Proposal Autofill, viewing your saved templates, browsing your proposal history, and accessing your analytics dashboard - none of these actions use credits.
What if I run out of AI credits before the month ends?
You can buy a credit top-up pack from your billing page at any time. Packs add to your balance right away and unused credits roll into the next month. You do not need to change your plan.
How does per-seat billing work for teams?
Every team member on your account is billed as a seat at the plan rate. Adding a seat mid-cycle is prorated for the remaining days. You can add or remove seats from the team settings page at any time.
Can team members share AI credits?
Each seat has its own monthly credit allowance. Credits are not pooled across seats by default - each member draws from their own allocation. If a member needs more, a top-up pack can be added to their seat from the billing page.
